Bat

3D Flying Bat
I was working in my craftrooom today and made this adorable little 3D bat. I decided to share the tutorial on how I did it.  This is my first time doing this so I hope you like it.

I used the SU owl punch and black card stock to cut 2 owl body shapes.

Then I cut 2 cirlces with the SU 2 1/2 circle punch. and cut those both in half with scissors,
I took the 1 3/4 circle punch and punched out 2 curve shapes from the flat side of half circles.

I folded 2 of the half circles in half and glued them to the flat one on one half side only. This is so half of the top wing will be sticking up.

I glued the edge of the half circles to the body piece to form the wings. I used pop dots to glue down the body over the section we were working on.
I used clear crystals for the eyes. I did not have color crystals but I found they could be colored with a Sharpie. I did this one black I
also made one with green eyes that I did not get a picture of yet.  My grandson loved the green eyed one best.  I did not know the crystals could be colored so easily not sure if you heard that before on not but thought it was a cool idea for when you just don't have the write color.
Thanks for viewing. Elaine
